Meet our team: Luke Mulquiny

Luke grew up on a family farm in North Central Victoria, where he’s passion for agriculture blossomed at an early age. His upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for the industry and a drive to contribute to its growth and success.

Luke completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science/Bachelor of Business at La Trobe, this equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and business aspects of agriculture.

Luke’s professional journey began with a graduate program with Commonwealth Bank. He then transitioned into roles within CommSec and Agribusiness, primarily operating in the vibrant agricultural landscapes of the Wimmera and Southwest Victoria. Over the past seven years, Luke has worked closely with family farm businesses across multiple sectors including grains, sheep, beef, horticulture, and dairy. This experience honed his expertise in understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within each sector and allowed Luke to provide tailored support to his clients.

Beyond work, Luke is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoys snowboarding and following the Western Bulldogs in the AFL. Luke often returns to the family farm and undertakes harvest every year over the summer period.
