Meet our team: Jacob Heavyside

Born and raised in Central Victoria, Jacob says he has always had a keen interest in business. Jacob completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting & Human Resource Management) at La Trobe University in Bendigo, during his studies he gained hands-on experience at a local accounting firm, enriching his academic endeavours with practical skills.

Jacob’s full time working career started when he embarked on the NAB Agribusiness Graduate Program, this provided him with a strong grounding for future roles. Jacob spent just over 6 years with the NAB in various Agribusiness based roles throughout Central Victoria, South East Victoria and Melbourne.

Throughout his banking career Jacob predominantly served Agricultural clients, fostering close relationships with numerous farming families across Victoria and NSW. His clientele encompassed diverse sectors including cropping, sheep, dairy, beef, horse breeding and training, poultry, horticulture, and meat processing.

Jacob co-founded Millennial Finance Group and Millennial Ag, where he thoroughly enjoys working in and jointly managing an independent finance business. He established our Sunshine Coast office, expanding the business’s reach and presence into Queensland. Jacob aspires to continue growing all parts of the business into a well-recognised and respected national brand in the coming years.

Beyond work Jacob enjoys spending quality time with his wife Zoe and his family. He is a passionate Essendon supporter and enjoys being involved with local sporting clubs.
